A Seminar-Workshop Series to Empower FSI Personnel to Fulfill the Institute’s Vision, Mission, and Strategic Goals

The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) started the year by organizing a Seminar-Workshop Series on Critical Thinking, Futures Thinking, Annual Business Planning, and Ways Forward for its personnel.

This series of seminars and workshops was organized to empower FSI personnel to formulate more innovative training programs and research work responsive to the Department’s evolving needs.

It was also intended to enable the Institute’s different Divisions to develop a more dynamic work culture, improve their camaraderie and teamwork, and help develop common goals for the future of the Institute.

Finally, the said series would facilitate the formulation of an innovative, ambitious, relevant, and realistic Annual Business Plan for 2020, anchored on the FSI’s Strategic Plan, and put the Institute at the forefront of progressive training and policy research at par with its counterparts.
