Israel MFA Gives Special Lecture to FSO Cadets

Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines His Excellency Effie Ben Matityau delivers his message to the FSO Cadets Batch XXII.

The Head of the Bureau for Economic and Asian Affairs, Center for Policy Research, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem, Mr. Benjamin Krasna, delivered a lecture to the Foreign Service Officers (FSO) Cadets Batch XXII, on 12 April 2016 at Foreign Service Institute (FSI) Training Room 558-559.

Mr. Krasna’s talk, “Research, Intelligence and Analysis in Support of Diplomacy,” covered the international understanding of intelligence and its role in policymaking and diplomacy.

The cadets were also honored by the presence of Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines His Excellency Effie Ben Matityau and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Israel in Manila Ms. Hadass Nisan during the lecture.

Ambassador Matityau also gave a message to the junior FSOs, reminding them of the positive role of intelligence and the importance of intercultural relations.
