The newly commissioned batch of Foreign Service Officers (FSOs) paid a courtesy call on Secretary of Foreign Affairs Jose Rene D. Almendras on 29 April 2016. In a simple ceremony at the Carlos P. Romulo Library, the junior officers were given a chance to ask the secretary questions ranging from current events to career advice related to the service. The FSOs are currently undertaking the FSO Cadetship Course, a six-month training program that started in January 2016, at the Foreign Service Institute’s Carlos P. Romulo School of Diplomacy.
